One ingredient. Organic, unrefined, raw shea butter, and nothing else in the jar.
This is shea the way it comes off the nut: dense, a little grainy, pale ivory, with its own faint nutty scent. It isn't whipped and it isn't a lotion. You warm a small piece between your palms and it melts into an oil that sinks into dry, rough, or cracked skin and stays there. Naturally rich in Vitamins A and E and the essential fatty acids your skin uses to repair its own barrier, which is why it's been the go-to for dry, sensitive skin for generations.
Where it goes
Elbows, knees, heels, and knuckles. Anywhere the skin has gone rough.
Face, a very thin layer at night, especially in winter.
Hair, a pea-sized amount worked through ends to seal in moisture and smooth flyaways.
Cuticles, dry lips, fresh tattoos once healed enough to moisturize, stretch marks, the backs of hands after too much sanitizer.
100% vegan. Cruelty-free. No fragrance, no preservatives, no fillers. Responsibly sourced.
How to use
Scoop a small amount and warm it between your fingers until it melts, then apply a thin layer. A little goes a long way. Use twice a day for lasting moisture. If it's firm from the cold, let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes first.
Good to know
Raw shea can look slightly grainy or uneven. That's the natural fat crystals, not a flaw, and it melts smooth on contact with skin. Shea is a tree nut butter; if you have a nut allergy, patch-test first or check with your doctor.
Warning: For external use only. In case of accidental contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place between 60°F and 70°F (15°C to 21°C), away from direct sunlight. If it melts, let it cool and re-solidify; it's still perfectly good.
